Orion Awarded US Patent for Secured Endorsed Transactions using electronic signature capture and other biometrics.

U.S. Patent 6,745,936 granted to Orion Systems, June 8, 2004.

Burlington, MA.June 8, 2004 - Orion Systems, Inc. announced today that it has been granted U.S. Patent 6,745,936 from the US Patent and Trademark Office for "Method and Apparatus for Generating Secure Endorsed Transactions" which covers technology used in its highly secure, fraud resistant and tamperproof Orion OnlineContracts software. This software, available for multiple platforms and offering 'plug and play' support for a broad range of signature capture devices, targets contractual and other secure signature capture implementations.
